Media figure Ahmed Shobeir revealed the truth behind the recent rumors regarding Ahmed Abdelkader, an Al Ahly player, offering the club 30 million pounds to allow him to leave this summer.

Shobeir stated in radio remarks today, Tuesday: "I went to an important official at Al Ahly and told him that Ahmed Abdelkader had done this, and he said this matter did not happen either recently or remotely, and it is very far from the truth and has no basis."

He continued: "I told him, well, the registration window will close in 24 hours, what will happen with Abdelkader? He said he will train, and if he proves his worth, he will participate. I said: So he will sign in January for free with any club? He replied, he can sign; we have a system, and when we received the offer from Al Hazem, we presented it to him, and then the Saudi club apologized, and we did not receive any official local or foreign offer to acquire Ahmed Abdelkader."

Shobeir concluded: "What will happen now is that Ahmed Abdelkader will train, and I have two requests for the officials at Al Ahly: as long as he is a player in your team, he should train with his colleagues; do not play with him, that’s yours. Secondly, he must train very well, so if he participates at any time, he will be ready, and if he is to be sold, he will be in shape as well. Ahmed Abdelkader is a very good player and succeeded in his experience in the Qatari league, winning the title of best player in the match several times."
