Some media reports have indicated that the English club Bournemouth has reached an agreement with the Brazilian club Botafogo regarding the transfer of their goalkeeper Neto during the ongoing summer transfer window.

Neto, who is 36 years old, spent last season on loan at Arsenal and is in the final year of his contract with Bournemouth before deciding to return to Brazil.

According to Sky Sports, the Brazilian goalkeeper left Bournemouth's training camp in the United States heading to his country, preparing to undergo a medical examination and finalize his transfer officially.

This transfer is expected to help alleviate the financial burden on Bournemouth, as Neto is among the highest-paid players in the team.

Neto joined Bournemouth in August 2022 and has played 61 matches in the Premier League with them.
