Al-Nassr officials are awaiting the final decision from Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus regarding the continuation of his compatriot Octavio Monteiro in the team during the current summer transfer window.

Octavio had joined the Al-Nassr camp currently being held in Portugal after being previously excluded by a technical decision from Jesus, who is still evaluating the player's situation before making his final decision.

The newspaper "Al-Yawm" reported that Jesus will announce his final stance on Octavio's stay in the coming hours, amidst conflicting indications about the possibility of his departure or continuation for the new season.

It is worth noting that the Portuguese player has a contract with Al-Nassr that extends until the summer of 2026, but he has become a target for other clubs, most notably Al-Qadisiyah and Al-Ahli, in anticipation of the possibility of his departure.

Previously, Octavio's agent stated that Al-Nassr is obligated to pay around 15 million euros as outstanding dues to the player if an agreement is reached to mutually terminate the contract between the two parties.
