The rivalry in the transfer market has intensified between the traditional rivals Al-Zawraa and Air Force in order to sign Bahraini star Kamal Al-Aswad, a midfielder from Al-Khalidiya Club, amid both teams' desire to strengthen their squads with a player possessing unique vision and extensive international experience.

The Air Force management had previously entered into official negotiations to acquire the player, but the deal faltered after Al-Khalidiya's management rejected the presented offer, considering it below the required financial level. Consequently, Air Force temporarily withdrew from the negotiations due to the high financial value demanded by the Bahraini club.

However, matters reignited in the past few days, as Al-Zawraa strongly entered the negotiation line, presenting a financial offer that met the amount requested by Al-Khalidiya's management, which revitalized the negotiations and forced Air Force's management to raise their financial offer in an attempt to regain the lead in the race.

So far, the deal has not been finalized by either club, while negotiations are still ongoing among the three parties amidst official secrecy, at a time when it is expected that Kamal Al-Aswad will make his final decision in the next couple of days, amid increasing interest from the fans of both clubs and anticipation of how this confrontation in the transfer market will unfold.

It is worth mentioning that Kamal Al-Aswad is considered one of the top midfielders in Bahrain, having previously represented his country in several continental tournaments, and possesses technical skills and leadership abilities that have made him an attractive target for several clubs in the region.
