Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" revealed that German club Borussia Dortmund has shown significant interest in signing Gavi Fernandez, the 17-year-old midfielder from Barcelona, during the current summer transfer window.

Gavi is currently participating in the preparatory Asian tour with the first team, after an impressive season with the reserve team, during which he scored 7 goals in 32 matches. Despite joining Hans Flick's preparations, his chances of regular participation this season seem limited due to the abundance of options available in the midfield.

The newspaper noted that Dortmund, which is also monitoring the situation of player Hector Fort, plans to present an attractive sports project to Gavi Fernandez in order to sign him on loan or through a permanent transfer deal.

Gavi is expected to evaluate his future in collaboration with his agent Jorge Mendes, to make the best decision for his upcoming career.
