The Portuguese star Octavio has taken an unexpected step regarding his football future in the Saudi league, after being excluded from Al-Nassr's plans during the current summer transfer window.

The new Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus excluded his compatriot Octavio from the team's external camp, confirming that the player is on his way to leaving the capital team this summer.

Despite reports suggesting that Al-Qadisiyah is the closest club to sign him, Octavio's desire to stay in the capital Riyadh may lead him to Al-Dhraiya Club, which is preparing to compete in the Yelo League next season.

Sources confirmed that the midfielder received an offer from Al-Qadisiyah, but he prefers the option to stay in Riyadh, making Al-Dhraiya Club a strong candidate to secure his services.

Octavio joined Al-Nassr in the summer of 2023 from Porto, and his contract extends until June 2026. During this period, he participated in 84 matches across all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing 16 assists.
