Officially.. ES Sahel strengthens its squad with 3 new signings before the season starts
The ES Sahel Sports Club announced today, Sunday, via its official page, the official signing of Maher Bel-Sghir, an attacking midfielder, in a free transfer from Olympique de Béja.
The coastal team is the seventh stop in the career of Maher Bel-Sghir (29 years old), after previously playing for the clubs of Hammam-Lif, Ben Guerdane, Esperance, US Monastir, Tunisian Stadium, and finally Olympique de Béja.
In the context of strengthening the attack, ES Sahel also confirmed the signing of Senegalese striker Hassan Diaw (22 years old) in a free transfer from Tanzanian club Azam, to compensate for the departure of top scorer Firas Chawat to Club Africain during the current summer transfer market.
The coastal team had previously announced the return of striker Mohamed El-Daoui "Cristo" on loan from Al Ahly of Egypt for one season, in addition to signing goalkeeper Sabri Ben Hassan after the end of his contract with CS Sfaxien.
ES Sahel will begin its new season in the Tunisian Professional League with an away match against Shabibat Al-Omran on Sunday, August 10.
