American player Timothy Weah, who plays for Italian team Juventus, is close to joining French club Olympique Marseille during the current summer transfer window.

Earlier reports from Italian media indicated that Weah was no longer in Juventus' plans for the new season.

According to trusted journalist Fabrizio Romano, a verbal agreement has been reached between Juventus and Marseille regarding the deal, which will involve a loan worth one million euros, with an obligatory purchase option for 14 million euros, plus three million euros in variables, along with a penalty clause.

Romano clarified that the player is currently waiting to receive the green light to travel to France and officially join Marseille.

It is worth noting that Timothy Weah has played 78 matches for Juventus, during which he scored 7 goals and assisted 7 others.
