Damac Signs Al-Najai for Three Seasons
Damac has finalized its contract with Yahya Al-Najai, a midfielder from Al-Wehda, for a period of three years, according to exclusive sources for the sports newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" on Saturday evening.
Al-Najai, who is 26 years old, had recently signed a contract with Al-Khulood for three years, but the deal was later canceled following a decision by the technical committee after the club's ownership was transferred to an American company.
Al-Najai began his football career at Al-Thuqbah Club before moving to the youth categories of Al-Nassr in 2014, and then signed a professional contract with Al-Wehda in 2021 for four years.
During his time with Al-Wehda, Al-Najai participated in 53 matches across all competitions, including 34 matches in the last season, which saw the team relegated to the Yelo League for first division clubs.
Al-Najai is expected to be a valuable addition to Damac's midfield, especially with his solid experience in the Saudi league and the versatility of his roles on the field.
