Milan Attempts to Include Bennacer in a Swap Deal with Juventus
Saturday 02-08-2025
Italian media reports have revealed a new development regarding the future of Algerian international Ismael Bennacer, following the end of his loan period at French club Olympique Marseille, and AC Milan's refusal to recall him as part of their new project.

According to what was reported by "Calcio Mercato" citing the newspaper "La Repubblica", Milan has offered Bennacer's name to Juventus in a swap deal that involves the transfer of the Algerian star, along with 10 million euros, in exchange for Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic.

Reports confirmed that Vlahovic has given his initial approval to move to the "Rossoneri", but the offer did not convince Juventus' management, prompting Milan to plan to resume negotiations during the current month of August, in order to reach a final agreement.

Meanwhile, the newspaper stated that Bennacer, who is under contract with Milan until the summer of 2027, has been excluded from the team's summer tour in Asia and Australia, indicating his exit from the coach's plans.

Additionally, Bennacer recently rejected an official offer from Saudi club Al-Ittihad worth 10 million euros, preferring to stay in Europe.

The "Greens" midfielder had played on loan for 6 months at Marseille, but the French club refused to activate the final purchase option valued at 12 million euros, and attempted to renew the loan, but Milan insisted on selling the player permanently.
