The management of Kabylie Youth announced today, Saturday, the amicable termination of the contract with defensive midfielder Driss Abd El Hamid, thus ending his journey with the club ahead of schedule.

The club confirmed in an official statement that the separation was by mutual agreement between both parties, without going into additional details regarding the reasons.

The player participated in 30 matches during the last season wearing the 'Canary' jersey, and he delivered a consistent performance in the defensive midfield position, before his contract was terminated during the current summer transfer period, despite his original contract being set to last until the summer of 2028.

The club has not yet announced a direct replacement for Abd El Hamid, while the team's preparations for the new season continue.
