The departure of Spanish international Aymeric Laporte from his club Al-Nasr Saudi Arabia has become imminent, after his Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus confirmed his departure during the ongoing summer transfer window.

The Portuguese coach confirmed Laporte's departure, while being careful not to disclose the club he will play for this season, and indicated that Al-Nasr will sign a defender as his replacement.

It is worth mentioning that Laporte has been training with Al-Nasr's reserve team for several days, after being excluded from the global team's training camp for the new season.

According to media sources, Al-Nasr will not allow the Spanish defender to leave in any way, presenting him with two options: either to leave without receiving a large portion of his dues, or for the club wishing to sign him to pay a financial amount.

It is noteworthy that Athletic Bilbao has been negotiating for some time to sign Laporte, offering him a three-year contract, but the arrangements with Al-Nasr have not yet been finalized.
