The Tunisian African Club announced last night, Wednesday, its official signing of Libyan player Osama Al-Sharimi, coming from the Libyan club Al-Suwaihli, in a deal that extends until June 30, 2027.
With his joining the team, Al-Sharimi joins his fellow countrymen Fahd Al-Masmar and Ali Youssef in the club's ranks, as the trio appeared in a promotional image published by the official African page on Facebook, titled: "From the lands of noble Libya to the capital of Tunisia, specifically Park A, the stronghold of popular football."
The club confirmed through its official pages that Al-Sharimi signed a contract for two and a half years, as part of a plan to strengthen the team's ranks with young and promising elements in preparation for the new season.
It is noteworthy that the name Osama Al-Sharimi was recently linked to a transfer to the Egyptian club Zamalek, following news of the white team's interest in his services, but the player preferred to pursue a professional experience in the Tunisian league wearing the jersey of the African Club.
