Zakho Club announced its official signing of Brazilian left back Orinho, coming from the Russian club Khimki, in a new step that confirms the seriousness of the club's management in building a team capable of competing strongly in the upcoming season of the Iraqi Premier League.

The Brazilian player Orinho, who is 30 years old and stands at 180 cm tall, is considered one of the attacking-minded full-backs, known for his quick bursts and precise crosses, in addition to having extensive experience in several strong leagues.

Orinho's professional career began in the Brazilian league, where he previously represented clubs such as Santos, Fluminense, and Oeste, which are prestigious clubs that played a significant role in honing his defensive and offensive abilities. He also had an experience in Europe through the Belarusian league with Dynamo Minsk, before arriving in Russia via Rodina Moscow, and then Khimki, his last stop before signing with Zakho.

Sources within the Zakho management confirmed that the signing of Orinho came after careful monitoring of his performance during his recent appearances in the Russian league, where the player expressed a strong desire to embark on a new experience in the Middle East, with the Iraqi league being his next destination.

The player is expected to arrive in Zakho city in the coming days to join the team's training in preparation for the training camp, amid fans' hopes that he will be a strong addition to the left side of the team.
