Journalist Thomas Gonzalez warned that the strategy followed by Brazilian star Vinicius Junior in his recent dealings with the royal club regarding the renewal of his contract, which ends in the summer of 2027.

Gonzalez explained that some fans have started to lose their sympathy for the player, pointing out that what is happening now resembles what happened previously with stars such as Mesut Ozil, Angel Di Maria, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Sergio Ramos, who entered into direct or indirect challenges with the management, resulting in their departure and loss of this conflict.

The royal club had a verbal agreement with the player regarding the renewal before the player demanded more money for the extension, which the club rejected and decided to freeze negotiations.

It is worth mentioning that Saudi Arabia is keen on signing Vinicius, allocating more than 300 million euros for his signing.
