Officially: Bayern Munich Extends Sven Ulreich's Contract

The German club Bayern Munich announced today, Tuesday, the extension of veteran goalkeeper Sven Ulreich's contract for an additional year, allowing him to stay with the team until the summer of 2026.

Ulreich, who is 36 years old, joined Bayern Munich in 2015 from Stuttgart, and spent one season with Hamburg in 2020 before returning to the Bavarian team.

Max Eberl, a member of Bayern Munich's board for sports affairs, said: "Sven Ulreich is a role model, he literally keeps his promises, and his character adds a lot to any team. We are very happy for him to continue with us for another season."

Ulreich has played 103 official matches in Bayern's shirt so far, during which he has won nine titles in the Bundesliga, three in the DFB-Pokal, along with six titles in the German Supercup, and one title each in the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup.
