Officially.. Al-Zawraa announces two heavy signings

The administrative body of Al-Zawraa Club has concluded two heavy signings to strengthen the team in preparation for the new season, after finalizing the contracting procedures with Jordanian national team star Nizar Al-Rashdan and Bahraini national team star Mahdi Al-Humaidan, coming from Al-Khalidiya Club in Bahrain, as part of intensive movements led by the leader to bolster its squad with players of high quality and experience.

The contract for Nizar Al-Rashdan's joining was signed in the Jordanian capital, Amman, in the presence of the club's administrative body president Haidar Shanshul, where an agreement was reached with the player on a contract that extends for one season, renewable. Al-Rashdan is considered one of the most prominent midfield players in Jordanian football in recent years, possessing extensive experience after representing several prominent clubs such as Al-Faisaly, Al-Hussein Irbid, and Nawruz Iraqi, in addition to his recent experience in Bahrain.

The signing of Al-Rashdan comes at the direct request of the coaching staff of Al-Zawraa, led by coach Abdul Ghani Shahid, who expressed complete confidence in the player's capabilities and ability to make a difference in midfield, thanks to his high technical vision and calmness under pressure, in addition to his known tactical discipline.

As for the second signing, it was with Bahraini national team star Mahdi Al-Humaidan, who signed an official contract to join the leader's squad after successful negotiations with the management of Al-Khalidiya Club. Al-Humaidan is considered one of the distinguished names in Gulf football, playing as an attacking winger, characterized by his speed and high skill, as well as having a notable scoring instinct that has attracted the attention of many clubs.
