Mustafa Shalaby, the former Zamalek player, addressed the fans of the white team with an emotional message after confirming his transfer to the ranks of the National Bank team during the current summer transfer window.

Shalaby said on Facebook: "All the good, I have not seen other than it from the fans and the great Zamalek club. It was an honor for me to be associated with such a great entity as Zamalek, but every beginning has an end and every story has a conclusion, and this is the way of life and God's way with His creation. Today, I announce the end of my time with Zamalek, but it is only the end of a football phase, and from tomorrow I will return as a fan and supporter of a place that has given me all good things."

He added: "I would like to thank all the boards of directors and all the technical, administrative, and medical staff, as well as the mission officials I have dealt with. My brothers, the players, thank you, I love you, I will miss you."

He continued: "To the great loyal Zamalek fans: You have been and still are the biggest supporters of this great club. This phase needs you as you have always been behind all the players. Believe me, your support makes a big difference. They all love the club and play with all their hearts to elevate the club's name."

He concluded: "Thank you to the greatest fans of the planet. I love you, I will miss you. Your brother, Mustafa Shalaby."
