Royal Army Signs Tunisian Ashraf Al-Habbasi
The Moroccan Royal Army Club announced on Saturday that it has officially signed Tunisian player Ashraf Al-Habbasi in a free transfer deal coming from the Tunisian club Sfaxien.
Al-Habbasi is 24 years old and plays as a winger. He unilaterally terminated his contract with his previous team, according to reports from Tunisian media, after filing a complaint with the Disputes Committee of the Tunisian Football Federation.
According to the same sources, Portuguese coach Alexander dos Santos, the current head coach of the Royal Army, knows the player well, having previously trained him during his time with Sfaxien, which facilitated the process of bringing him to the military team.
This signing comes as part of the Royal Army's efforts to strengthen its squad with young and qualified attacking players ahead of the new season.
