Hamed Al-Ghamdi bid farewell to Al-Ettifaq fans with an emotional message, as he officially nears joining Al-Ittihad in a deal that saw a three-way competition with Al-Ahli and Al-Nassr during the summer transfer market of 2025.

Al-Ghamdi said in his message: "After beautiful years with Al-Ettifaq, I bid farewell to this beloved entity with all love, and I thank the management, players, and everyone I worked with during this unforgettable journey."

He also extended a special thanks to Al-Ettifaq fans, affirming that their support will remain etched in his heart, wishing the team success and prosperity in the upcoming seasons both locally and continentally.

Al-Ghamdi had joined Al-Ittihad in the summer of 2024 on loan, before the club decided to purchase his contract permanently this summer, signing him until 2030.

It is worth noting that both Al-Nassr and Neom also attempted to sign the player, but Al-Ittihad secured the deal thanks to the coach Laurent Blanc's desire to retain his services as part of the new season project.
