Arsenal FC has officially announced via its official website today the signing of English international winger Noni Madueke on a long-term contract, coming from Chelsea, in a deal that strengthens the team's forward line in preparation for the new season.

Madueke is 23 years old and was born in North London. He previously represented Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur at youth levels before moving to PSV Eindhoven in 2018, where he quickly excelled with the first team. After 80 matches with PSV, he joined Chelsea in January 2023 and played 92 matches in their colors.

On the international stage, Madueke has represented England at various age levels and made his senior debut last September against Finland, where he assisted a goal in his first appearance, and he has seven international caps to date.

Although the club did not announce the duration of the contract signed with the English player, some reports indicated that Madueke's contract with the Gunners extends until June 2030.

The value of the deal was reported to be €55.4 million, plus €4.6 million in potential add-ons, according to the website "Transfermarkt".

Madueke will wear the number 20 shirt with Arsenal and is set to join the team's training at the beginning of August.

Head coach Mikel Arteta expressed his happiness with the deal, stating: "Madueke is a special and highly talented player, with experience and quality, and we know his abilities well. We are excited to have him join the team and confident that he will make a significant impact."
