Zakho Club player, Shivan Jamil, expressed his determination and that of his teammates to give their all in order to achieve the dream and win the Iraq Cup, confirming that the team has overcome pressures and all surrounding circumstances, emphasizing that the focus is solely on making the Zakho fans happy.

Shivan said in special statements before the anticipated match against Dohuk in the final: "As players, we are well aware that this match could change the course of the club's history, and we have a strong desire to leave our mark and write Zakho's name in the champions' record."

He added: "Everyone is talking about the match, the stadium, the broadcast, and the tension, but inside the locker room, we are only thinking about the 90 minutes that await us on the field. Our goal is clear, and we will play with a high fighting spirit, just as we have throughout our journey in the tournament."

Regarding the change of the match venue from Nawruz to Al-Shaab International, Shivan commented: "We were completely surprised by the decision; we were on our way to Sulaymaniyah when we learned about the transfer. However, despite all that, we will not let anything distract us from our goal, and this decision should not be an excuse or justification for any shortcomings."

Jamil confirmed that the team has had a tough season and succeeded in overcoming significant challenges, adding: "Everyone in the team has contributed a lot this season. From the coach to the youngest player, and we played every match with full concentration. We deserve to be here in the final, and we will prove to everyone that we did not arrive by chance."

Shivan concluded his remarks with a message to the Zakho fans, saying: "You are the beating heart of this team, and your support gives us an extra boost. We promise to give our utmost and fight for this emblem and this city. The cup is close, and we will try to bring it back to Zakho from the heart of Baghdad."
