Arsenal Withdraws from Attempt to Sign Rodrigo
Thursday 17-07-2025
The English club Arsenal has withdrawn from its pursuit of Brazilian Rodrigo, the winger of Real Madrid, during the current summer transfer window, according to Spanish radio station "Cadena Ser".

This decision comes after a period of uncertainty regarding Rodrigo's future with the royal club, especially after he lost his brilliance under the new coach Xabi Alonso, prompting the player to consider looking for a team that guarantees him more playing minutes to maintain his position in the Brazilian national team in preparation for the 2026 World Cup.

Rodrigo is currently analyzing the options available to him, amid interest from other clubs, most notably Liverpool in England and Paris Saint-Germain in France.

It is noteworthy that Real Madrid has set a price of around 100 million euros to part with the services of the 24-year-old player, who played 54 matches with the team in all competitions last season, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists.
