Recent reports have denied the rumors circulating about Al-Hilal's reconsideration of its previous decision not to participate in the Saudi Super Cup, which is scheduled to be held in Hong Kong this July.

The reports confirmed that Al-Hilal is still sticking to its position of refusing to compete in the tournament, emphasizing that the news about a change in decision is completely unfounded and not based on credible sources.

This decision primarily stems from the desire of Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, who preferred to rest the players both physically and mentally before the start of the new season, to ensure their full readiness.

Inzaghi believes that participating in the Super Cup could tire the team before entering official competitions, especially with the intensive preparatory program awaiting the players in the upcoming phase.
