Media figure Khaled Al-Ghandour, former star of Zamalek, revealed that Hamdi Fathi, a player from Al-Wakrah in Qatar, is nearing a move to Pyramids FC this summer.
Al-Ghandour stated on Facebook: "Hamdi Fathi will be part of Pyramids FC, the contract is for 3 years, and he will join the team's camp within 48 hours, with an annual contract worth 120 million Egyptian pounds."
Hamdi Fathi participated with Al-Ahly in the Club World Cup on loan from Al-Wakrah.
It is worth noting that Al-Ahly exited the Club World Cup from the group stage.
