The English club Arsenal announced on its official website the signing of the first professional contract with Cameron Ismail, the young left-back of Egyptian descent, after his outstanding performance with the academy teams last season.

Ismail expressed his happiness with this step, confirming that it is a moment of great pride for him, saying: "I think it's a very important day for me; I have dreamed of this moment for a long time, and I am happy to be here."

He added: "My goal now is to establish myself with the under-21 team and work hard to get a chance with the first team, whether in training or in matches. I give my all every day and learn from the level of professionalism that everyone shows here."

Cameron Ismail spent most of last season with the under-18 team, where he participated in 16 matches in the Premier League for youth, and also appeared with the under-21 team in several matches in the Premier League 2.
