The American club Inter Miami is on the verge of signing Argentine Rodrigo De Paul, the midfielder from Atletico Madrid, during the current summer transfer window.

According to reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano on his account on the platform 'X', negotiations between Inter Miami and Atletico Madrid have reached their final stages, with only a few details remaining to officially finalize the deal.

De Paul, who is 31 years old, joined Atletico Madrid in 2021 from Udinese for 35 million euros, and his current contract with the Spanish team runs until the summer of 2026, with a market value of around 25 million euros.

The potential deal comes amid the strong friendship between Rodrigo De Paul and his compatriot Lionel Messi, the star of Inter Miami.
