The Al-Ahli team of Aleppo has won the Syrian football league title for the seventh time in its history.

This came after their victory in the final match of the last stage against Al-Karama, with a score of two goals to none.

This is the first league title for Al-Ahli, also known as Al-Ittihad, in 20 years.

It is considered the first league in Syria following the changes that the country has witnessed.
