FC Barcelona is preparing for the new season 2025/2026, amidst reports of English clubs interested in signing their player Marc Casado during the ongoing summer transfer window.

According to the newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", Manchester United has included Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado among its targets in the current summer transfer window, joining Chelsea and Arsenal who are also interested in signing him, although none of the clubs have made a formal offer yet.

The newspaper clarified that Casado, who is 21 years old, is keen to remain with Barcelona despite the interest from English clubs, preferring to continue under Flick's management, at a time when the Catalan club is seeking to ease wage burdens.

Casado's contract with Barcelona extends until the summer of 2028 and includes a release clause of 100 million euros. Last season, the player participated in 36 matches with the team across all competitions, scoring one goal and providing 6 assists, while receiving one red card and three yellow cards.
