Swedish striker Viktor Jokers of Sporting Lisbon has stirred controversy regarding his future during the current summer transfer window, amid significant interest from major European clubs, primarily Arsenal and Manchester United.

Jokers stated in an interview with the French newspaper "L'Équipe": "Right now, I'm only thinking about scoring goals and winning, because that changes everything."

Regarding the possibility of returning to the English Premier League, the Swedish striker commented: "I spent several years there without playing a single match, so a return is something I desire; it would feel like revenge."

This comes amid reports suggesting that Arsenal is close to finalizing the deal, especially after Jokers missed training sessions with Sporting in preparation for the new season.

It is worth mentioning that Jokers, 27 years old, played 52 matches this season with Sporting Lisbon across all competitions, scoring 54 goals and providing 13 assists.
