
Officially: Bayer Leverkusen Signs American Malik Tillman
The German club Bayer Leverkusen announced today that it has officially signed American star Malik Tillman, coming from Dutch side PSV Eindhoven, in a deal to compensate for the departure of Florian Wirtz to English club Liverpool.
The club clarified in an official statement that Tillman, who is 23 years old, has signed a long-term contract that extends until June 30, 2030.
Tillman has played 73 matches with PSV Eindhoven in various competitions, scoring 25 goals and providing 19 assists. He has also previously played in the German league with Bayern Munich, where he participated in 7 matches and scored one goal.
Leverkusen hopes that Tillman will help fill the attacking void left by Wirtz and assist in maintaining local and European competition in the upcoming seasons.
