Negotiations for Victor Gyökeres' transfer from Sporting Lisbon to Arsenal have stalled due to a disagreement over the transfer fee, with the Arsenal delegation returning from Lisbon without an agreement.

The Swedish player, who had initially agreed with the London club, believes that his transfer value is around 60 million euros plus an additional 10 million, while Sporting insists on a fixed amount of 70 million euros.

Arsenal offered to pay 65 million euros plus 15 million in potential variables, but the Portuguese club rejected the offer, demanding the fixed amount without variables.

Despite the player's desire to join Arsenal and his willingness to forgo 2 million euros from his future salary, negotiations remain at a standstill.

At the same time, Gyökeres has made it clear that he does not wish to play for Sporting in the future and is not attending training, expressing his dissatisfaction with the club's management due to the disagreement over the transfer value.

There is also a possibility that the player could be loaned to Turkish club Fenerbahçe if the deal with Arsenal fails.

It is worth mentioning that Arsenal has made several important signings this summer, including the acquisition of Martin Zubimendi, and continues to seek to strengthen its squad with new deals.
