The management of Zakho Club announced the renewal of the contract of the midfield star Nasser Mohammedo for an additional season, allowing the player to continue representing the team's colors during the upcoming season of the Iraqi Stars League, following the distinguished performance he delivered in the past season.

The renewal decision came as part of the stability policy adopted by the club's management in coordination with the coaching staff led by coach Abdul Ghani Shahid, as Mohammedo is considered one of the key pillars in the lineup, having shown remarkable levels in the past period and contributed to achieving several positive results, the latest being scoring the winning goal against Nawroz in the quarter-finals of the Iraq Cup, which led the team to the semi-finals of the tournament.
