Arsenal Moves Away from the Sisko Deal
The English club Arsenal is close to signing Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres from Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon.
Consequently, the Gunners are stepping away from the idea of signing Slovenian striker Benjamin Šeško from German club Leipzig.
Sky Sports reported that Arsenal had indeed pursued Šeško, but Leipzig's demand of 100 million euros put the deal out of reach.
Šeško is considered one of the standout strikers and had previously been linked, in addition to Arsenal, with Chelsea and Manchester United.
