Horvat: I Hope to Return to the Saudi League
Croatian Alen Horvat, former coach of Al-Nassr, confirmed his readiness to return to coaching in the Saudi league once again next season.
Horvat said in his remarks: "Saudi football has faced criticism from those who do not understand the game, but currently, the Roshan League has become one of the strongest leagues in the world, as demonstrated by Al-Hilal with their performance in the Club World Cup, which has 'silenced the critics'.
The former Al-Nassr coach added that he hopes to return to the Saudi league after his success in the UAE, explaining that there are open discussions with clubs, and he hopes they will be successful, allowing him to be among the coaches in the competition next season.
Regarding Al-Hilal's journey in the Club World Cup, he said that the blue team delivered impressive results, reaching the quarter-finals alongside teams like Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich, which is a significant achievement.
On Al-Nassr's season, Horvat stated: "The management has put a solid plan for the new season, which includes hiring a high-caliber coach and players that match the value and ambitions of the club. It is time to return to the podiums after a long absence."
