The management of Al-Nassr Saudi Club, led by Abdullah Al-Majed, has decided to freeze the file regarding the departure of Spanish defender Aymeric Laporte during the ongoing summer transfer market, waiting to see the vision of the team's next coach.

Despite the increasing speculation about Laporte leaving the ranks of "Al-Alami", after missing the final matches of the last season, the club has decided to temporarily halt discussions regarding his departure.

Sports critic Abdulaziz Al-Asimi confirmed via the "X" platform that Al-Nassr's management decided to suspend all requests to sign Laporte, leaving the final decision to the coach who will take over the technical role.

The Spanish defender joined Al-Nassr in the summer of 2023 from Manchester City, with a contract extending until the end of the 2025-2026 season, and his current market value is estimated at around 15 million euros.

Recently, Laporte has received offers from several European clubs, notably Juventus, which puts his future with Al-Nassr in a state of anticipation until the new coach's file is finalized.

It is worth noting that Al-Nassr's management is close to signing Portuguese Jorge Jesus, the former coach of Al-Hilal, who will have the final say in the matter of Laporte's stay or departure.
