Brazilian star Kayou Cesar from Al-Hilal confirmed that his team aimed to win the Club World Cup title.
Al-Hilal exited the tournament in the quarter-finals after losing to Fluminense 2-1 in the match held on Friday evening.
Kayou stated in television remarks after the match: "We are very proud of what we presented in this edition of the Club World Cup."
He added: "We aimed for more; we wanted to go far and reach the final and win the title, this is the dream of every team participating in the World Cup."
He continued: "I believe that some things were lacking, which is why we couldn't achieve what we wanted."
He concluded: "We knew the quality of our players well, and that we have a team that plays good football, which is why we feel very sad about the exit, but we are proud of what we accomplished."
