The Saudi newspaper "Asharq Al-Awsat" reported Al-Yami's statements to the media, saying: "We are ready to face Fluminense, and we have conducted intensive preparations to study the strengths and weaknesses of the opponent."
He added: "We are preparing for this confrontation with all our strength, and God willing, we will achieve qualification and continue our journey in the tournament."
Regarding his outstanding performance in the match against Manchester City in the Round of 16, Al-Yami said: "My remarkable appearance in that match came by the grace of God and with the support and assistance of my teammates, and I am ready to give more for Al-Hilal."
