Shikabala on Zizo's Transfer to Al Ahly: I Was Upset by His Decision
Mawhoub Abdelrazek Shikabala, the retired captain of Zamalek, revealed his reaction after his teammate Ahmed Sayed Zizo's transfer to Al Ahly this summer.
Shikabala said in his interview: "I will hand the fans of Zamalek the (banner) because I trust them, after I previously said I would give it to Ahmed Sayed Zizo, but he is no longer part of the white team now."
He continued: "For this reason, I was upset with Zizo, because I was going to tell the fans that I would hand the banner to a great star, and when he returned to training after a long absence, he ignored me and I didn't talk to him because of love, not the other way around, which upset me a lot."
He concluded: "I wish Zizo all the best in his career, but as a Zamalek fan, I was of course very sad and upset about his decision to move to Al Ahly."
