Al-Nasr Management Halts Hierro's Decision Regarding Brozović
Thursday 03-07-2025
The management of Al-Nasr Saudi Club intervened to stop the move by Spanish sporting director Fernando Hierro, who was preparing to terminate the contract of Croatian star Marcelo Brozović for 9 million euros before the end of June.

According to media reports, Brozović's contract included a clause allowing for termination at this amount until June 30, but the validity of this clause expired with the arrival of July.

With the deadline passed, terminating the player's contract is now conditional on paying his full dues for the remaining season, estimated at around 30 million euros, which means the departure step is currently postponed.

The management believed that proceeding with the player's settlement under the new condition could impose a significant financial burden, prompting them to delay the matter until further notice amid the ongoing summer transfer period.

It is worth noting that Brozović has so far played 70 official matches for Al-Nasr, scoring 6 goals and providing 15 assists to his teammates in various competitions.
