The French club Paris Saint-Germain is preparing to move to sign Brazilian winger Rodrigo, a player for Spanish club Real Madrid, during the summer transfer window.

Doubts about Rodrigo's future at the royal club have increased as the last season approached its end, especially after he lost some of his sparkle under the new coach Xabi Alonso.

According to media reports, Rodrigo is considering a new experience that would allow him to participate more, as he wishes to maintain his place in the Brazil national team for the 2026 World Cup.

According to the Spanish website 'Fichajes', Luis Enrique, the head coach of Paris Saint-Germain, has requested that his club's management prioritize signing Rodrigo, considering him one of the most important attacking reinforcements for the team in the upcoming phase.

Enrique believes that the 24-year-old player would be a strong addition to Paris's attack, alongside names like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembélé, Désiré Doué, and Bradley Barcola.

The report indicated that Real Madrid has set a price of around 80 million euros to part with the player, but Paris Saint-Germain hopes to reach an agreement at a lower price, especially if the deal occurs after the end of the 2025 Club World Cup, in which both clubs are currently participating.

It is worth noting that Rodrigo participated in 52 matches with Real Madrid last season across various competitions, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists.
