Arsenal has announced through its official website the signing of Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, to strengthen the team's lineup in preparation for the new season.

Kepa is 30 years old and has extensive experience in the Premier League, having played 140 matches, in addition to winning several titles with clubs such as Chelsea and Real Madrid, as well as his appearances with the Spain national team.

Kepa moved to Arsenal from Chelsea, where he spent the last two seasons on loan at Real Madrid and Bournemouth, to join the goalkeeping team at the London club.

Kepa expressed his happiness at joining Arsenal, confirming his eagerness to contribute to winning titles with the team, praising the great ambition he sees within the club through his discussions with head coach Mikel Arteta and the management team.

For his part, sporting director Andrea Bertar welcomed the new goalkeeper, confirming that his vast experience and competitive mentality will add strength to the team, while Arteta praised Kepa's qualifications and experience that will enhance the team's lineup.

Kepa will wear the number 13 jersey with Arsenal after joining the team, and his contract with his new club extends until June 30, 2028, according to Transfer Market, while some press reports indicated that the deal cost Arsenal's treasury 5 million euros.
