Former Paris Saint-Germain Coach Approaches Neom
Neom Club, recently promoted to the Roshan Saudi League, is close to signing French coach Christophe Galtier to lead the team technically in the upcoming season after a near-final agreement between the two parties.
According to what was published by the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadh", Neom's management has successfully reached an agreement with Galtier, who has an impressive coaching resume, having previously led Paris Saint-Germain and Lille.
Despite the historic achievement by Brazilian coach Prickles Shamuska in promoting the team from the Yelo League, the club has begun actual steps to amicably end the relationship with him before the start of the new season.
Neom's management has entered direct talks with Shamuska to facilitate his return to coach Al-Taawoun Club, agreeing to cover part of his annual salary with the Qassim team, estimated at around one million dollars.
Neom boasts a group of stars in its lineup, most notably Egyptian defender Ahmed Hegazi and Algerian winger Said Benrahma, amid administrative efforts to create a strong first season in the Professional League.
