In one of the most prominent matches of the 37th round of the Iraqi Stars League, the Electricity team launched its attacking spark strongly against Karama, managing to achieve a wide victory with a score of 4-1 in the match held on Saturday evening at Al-Zawraa Stadium.

The match, which was expected to be competitive, especially since Karama entered it in seventh place and was having a good season in its first appearance in the league, turned into a stunning offensive display by the orange team led by coach Rady Shneishil, who rearranged his players and showcased the best of his players in one of the most enjoyable matches of the team this season.

Although the first half ended in a goalless draw, both teams showed early signs of attacking intentions, but the resolution was delayed until the beginning of the second half when Maeen Ahmed opened the scoring for Electricity in the 52nd minute in a spectacular manner, after a throw-in from the left side executed by Montazer Rahim, allowing the ball to reach Waka Ramadan who cleverly headed it to Maeen, who then scored with an unstoppable bicycle kick, leaving the Karama defense in shock.

After that, Electricity's pressure increased significantly, and the team obtained a penalty in the 66th minute after a rough intervention from defender Richard Kasaga on Maeen Ahmed's foot. Waka Ramadan took the penalty and confidently placed it to the left of the goalkeeper, adding the second goal.

Just two minutes later, the rising talent Amouri Faisal made a strong statement for himself by scoring the third goal for Electricity in the 68th minute after a grave mistake from Karama's defense, as he intercepted the ball, broke away from the goalkeeper, and scored confidently to his right, showcasing why he is considered one of the team's top talents this season.

Despite conceding three goals in a quarter of an hour, Karama did not give up and tried to return to the match, with Nigerian player Yusuf Omauro managing to score a goal to reduce the deficit in the 74th minute after an organized attack initiated by defender Jefferson Bahia from the back, which passed through several passes and ended with Alaa Al-Din Al-Dali who set it up for Omauro to put it in the net.

However, Electricity did not let the match slip away from their hands, finishing strongly when substitute Mohamed Sweid added the fourth goal in the 83rd minute, after a remarkable entry and a precise cross from the right side that he easily followed into the net, delivering a final blow to Karama's hopes of a comeback.

With this victory, Electricity raised its tally to 48 points in the standings, establishing its presence as one of the stable middle teams in the Iraqi league, while Karama's tally remained at 55 points in seventh place, concluding a season that is considered good for the team in its first appearance in the spotlight league, but they exited tonight in a faded manner amid defensive disintegration and weak responses to pressure.

Electricity delivered one of its finest performances this season, and with promising young elements like Amouri, it seems that the team has a solid foundation to build upon for the next season under the supervision of its coaching staff led by Rady Shneishil.
