Nottingham Forest Moves to Sign Juventus Duo
Tuesday 24-06-2025
The British newspaper "Telegraph" revealed that Nottingham Forest has made an official offer to Juventus to sign the duo Timothy Weah and Samuel Mbanguola, in a deal worth around £20 million, as part of the club's plan to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season.

Timothy Weah is 25 years old and plays as a midfielder, while Samuel Mbanguola, who is 21 years old, plays as a winger, and has previously represented Belgium's national teams up to the under-21 level. Both players are currently participating with Juventus in the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.

Nottingham Forest's move comes amid financial pressures facing Juventus after recording losses exceeding £300 million over the past two years, making the Italian club open to selling some of its players this summer.

Negotiations are expected to continue in the coming days, especially with details regarding personal terms still pending, and Nottingham Forest's head coach Nuno Santo continues his efforts to strengthen the team after recently renewing his contract until 2028, as the club prepares to participate in European competitions for the first time in 30 years.
