In a special gesture, the Spanish club Barcelona congratulated its Argentine legend Lionel Messi on the occasion of his 38th birthday, through its official account on the platform "X".

The congratulatory message published by the club this morning read: "Happy Birthday, Leo!" accompanied by an iconic picture of the Argentine star wearing the Blaugrana jersey.

Despite Messi's departure from the Catalan team in the summer of 2021, the emotional bond between the two remains strong, as the club is keen to congratulate its historic player on every occasion, in appreciation of what he has given during more than 20 years spent within the walls of "Camp Nou".

It is worth noting that Messi is currently playing for Inter Miami in the USA, with his contract with the American club ending next December.
