The Saudi club Al-Nassr has reached a preliminary agreement with Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo to renew his contract for an additional season, noting that his current contract expires on June 30.

According to the Saudi newspaper 'Al-Riyadiyah', both parties have agreed to extend the contract for one more season, until the end of the upcoming 2025-2026 season, amid a mutual desire to continue.

Sources confirmed that Ronaldo will reassess his future following his anticipated participation in the 2026 World Cup with the Portuguese national team, where he will then decide whether to continue his football career or announce his retirement.

The 'Don' joined Al-Nassr in January 2023 after his stint with Manchester United ended, and since then he has participated in 105 matches with the team, scoring 93 goals and providing 19 assists.
