Crystal Palace Sets Price for Guehi as Liverpool Nears Deal
Monday 23-06-2025
Crystal Palace has determined the asking price for their defender Marc Guehi, as he enters the final year of his contract which extends until the summer of 2026, amid indications that he is unwilling to renew.

The London club aims to avoid losing the player for free in the future, with increasing interest from major clubs, most notably Liverpool and Arsenal. The English international prefers to join a club that offers him regular playing time to maintain his position in the England national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

According to journalist "Rudy Galetti", Crystal Palace's management has decided to reduce their financial demands to £45 million, and Galetti clarified that Liverpool is close to reaching an agreement on personal terms with the player in preparation for his signing this summer.

It is worth noting that Newcastle United attempted to sign Guehi last season for £60 million, but the offer was rejected.

The 24-year-old defender participated in 44 matches with Crystal Palace last season, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists.
