Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo reported that Inaki Pena, the goalkeeper for Barcelona, has decided to leave the team during the current summer transfer window, following recent changes within the club.

Pena's decision came after Barcelona signed goalkeeper Juan Garcia and the club's management is close to renewing the contract of Polish goalkeeper Szczesny, which has closed the door for him to participate as a starter.

According to the newspaper, Pena has begun his search for a new club, insisting on staying in La Liga, but the failure of his transfer to Valencia, which prefers to sign Kepa Arrizabalaga, has changed the equation.

In the midst of this, some Saudi clubs have begun to monitor the situation of the Spanish goalkeeper, with Riyadh Club and Neom Club being at the forefront, both showing initial interest in signing him to strengthen their squads.
