The Tunisian Esperance team achieved a valuable victory against their counterpart Los Angeles from the USA with a score of 1-0, in the second round of the group stage of the Club World Cup.

The only goal of the match came from Youssef Belaili in the 70th minute, after a ball reached him inside the penalty area, before he controlled it and skillfully shot it into the net.

In the 90+11 minute, Bouanga missed a penalty for Los Angeles after it was brilliantly saved by Esperance's goalkeeper, Bashir Ben Said.

Esperance raised its points to 3, placing them in third position with the same points as Chelsea in second, while Los Angeles remains without any points in fourth and last place, while Flamengo leads the group with 6 points.

In the final round, Esperance will play against Chelsea, while Flamengo will face Los Angeles.
